INSTRUCTIONS

In this exercise, you will be required to navigate a course using dead reckoning. You will be required to move over the course using a lensatic compass. You will be given the opportunity to re-orient your compass at periodic stops on each leg of the course. To use your compass, click on the COMPASS button. To make a correction in your bearings, click on the right or left arrows until you have made a compass correction to the correct azimuth direction. To review these instructions, click on the INSTRUCTIONS button. At the end of each leg, you will find an alpha letter. Record your letter in the white answer box. You must register the correct letter for each of the five legs of the land navigation course in order to receive a GO.
